Welcome to taaray. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the taaray platform, including the website, and any related services (collectively, the "Platform"). The Platform is operated by taaray, based in Pakistan. By using the Platform, whether as a buyer or a seller, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Our Role: taaray acts as an intermediary neutral venue, connecting independent sellers (who are small businesses and creators) with buyers. We are not a party to the actual sale contract between the buyer and seller. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the platform, payment processing, and facilitating order fulfillment.

General Terms for All Users

Eligibility: This Platform is open to all users. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Account Responsibility: You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to keep your login credentials confidential and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Content Guidelines: All text, images, and other content you submit to the Platform must be accurate, authentic, and must not contain any vulgarity, hate speech, harassment, or discrimination. You are prohibited from posting counterfeit or replica designer goods, unlicensed food items, cosmetics, prescription drugs, health supplements lacking DRAP approval, weapons, dangerous items, or adult materials.

Seller Terms & Conditions

Seller Registration

To become a seller, you must sign up and provide the required correct information, including a valid phone number, email, city, address, and payout method (Raast, SadaPay, JazzCash, or Bank Account). You must accurately provide your brand name, profile photo, header image (optional), Instagram handle or product portfolio, shop bio (optional), and select at least one category for your store. All information provided must be correct and kept up to date. We reserve the right to verify this information at any time. Failure to provide correct information may lead to a delay in payouts or the deactivation of your account.

Selling & Listing Items

Once registered, you can add items to your shopfront. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your product listings, including descriptions, images, and prices. You are prohibited from selling illegal or prohibited items (including counterfeit/replica goods, unapproved health products, weapons, and adult materials). Perishable goods, precious jewelry, and mass-produced products are also prohibited. You agree to maintain authentic listings, with no AI-generated product images, and to fulfill all orders with the product as described.

Featured Listings: You may advertise your product on the featured page for a non-refundable fee of PKR 100 per product for one week of featured placement. Featuring a product also brings it to the top of relevant search results. The fee is non-refundable once the promotion is activated. We reserve the right to reject a featured listing request if the product image or description violates our platform guidelines.

Order Fulfillment & Packaging

Upon receiving an order notification in your seller dashboard, you are responsible for properly packaging the items. You must follow the detailed packaging requirements outlined in our Return & Refund Policy. Failure to package items correctly may result in you being held responsible for any damage claims.

Shipping: We partner with Leopards Courier to deliver your parcels to buyers across Pakistan. Once an order is confirmed, simply generate the shipping label, pack it and drop it off at your nearest Leopards Courier office within the timeline provided by you. We'll handle the rest, including delivery and tracking. To keep buyers happy and your shop active, please make sure orders are shipped on time. Sellers who miss their order fulfillment window three or more times in a month may have their shop temporarily deactivated.

Fees & Commission

Responsibility & Consequences

You are solely responsible for the safety, authenticity, and claims regarding your products under Pakistani consumer protection laws.

Low Quality & False Listings: A "False Listing" is defined as a delivered item that does not match its product photos or description, as proven via unboxing video or photos. A "Low Quality" item is one that is poorly made, defective, or not fit for its intended purpose. Sellers who engage in false listings or consistently offer low-quality products may be removed from the Platform after a review process.

Buyer Terms & Conditions

Ordering & Payments

During checkout, you must enter correct shipping and billing information. You are liable for any delivery issues caused by incorrect information provided by you.

Fee Breakdown: The total cost of your order will be:
Product Price + Rs 299 Delivery Fee per seller.

Weight Charges:The Rs 299 Delivery Fee covers parcels up to 1 kg. If the combined weight of the items you order from one seller exceeds 1 kg, an additional Rs 180 will be added to that seller's Delivery Fee for each extra kg or part of a kg. Where a single product weighs more than 1 kg, its weight charge is already included in its Product Price and will not be charged again. Weight is calculated as the greater of the actual and volumetric weight of the items. Any weight charge will be shown to you in your cart and at checkout before you place your order.

Payment Methods: You will have the option to choose COD or Bank Transfer during checkout. Regardless of which option you choose, you will pay the shipping fee as COD.

Inspection Window & Returns

You have a "Customer Inspection Window" of 48 hours from the delivery date to inspect your item and report any issues.

Reporting a Problem: To claim a damaged, incorrect, or misrepresented item, you must submit an unedited unboxing video or clear photo evidence here. This evidence must be submitted within the 48 hour window. Claims submitted without this evidence or after the window has closed may not be eligible for a refund. Please refer to the Return & Refund Policy for a detailed breakdown of eligible return reasons and the refund process.

Exclusions from Returns: Opened or used products cannot be returned.

Important Platform Policies

Escrow & Payouts

Buyer payments are held in escrow by taaray until the return window closes without a dispute. Once the window has passed, funds are released to the seller. Payouts to sellers are processed weekly, every Sunday.

Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

Platform as Intermediary: taaray is an intermediary neutral venue connecting independent sellers and buyers. We are not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of the items listed by sellers.

Data Accuracy: We disclaim all liability for delivery failures caused by incorrect shipping addresses provided by buyers, or incorrect shop details provided by sellers.

Product Claims: The seller is solely responsible for product safety, claims, and authenticity under Pakistani consumer protection laws.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, taaray (and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use of or inability to use the Platform; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Platform; (iii) any content obtained from the Platform; or (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
